We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in South Africa. As a Lead Accountant, you will play a crucial role in setting up & managing Accounts for Excellent SA covering general accounting, bookkeeping, tax, expenses, payroll & audit.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in South Africa. As a Lead Accountant, you will play a crucial role in setting up & managing Accounts for Excellent SA covering general accounting, bookkeeping, tax, expenses, payroll & audit.
Responsibilities:
- Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
- Prepare tax documents
- Compile and analyze financial statements
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for SA entity
- General book keeping
- Opportunity to work on Regional / Global expansion projects / initiatives
- Africa experience will be an advantage
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Chartered Accounting status or nearly qualified
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong stakeholder relationship management
- Previous experience with accounting for Securities Trading, Investments, Asset management or Financial Services is preferred.
