We are seeking a motivated Execution Trader to join our Toronto office and support trading operations during US market hours. This role is ideal for candidates who are analytical, disciplined, and eager to build a long-term career in electronically traded global markets. You will work closely with senior traders to execute trades efficiently, monitor positions, and ensure strict adherence to risk parameters within a structured and high-performance trading environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute trades and monitor positions during US market hours
- Support senior traders in managing order flow and execution strategies
- Ensure accurate and timely trade execution across electronic platforms
- Monitor risk exposure and maintain adherence to predefined risk limits
- Analyze market data, liquidity conditions, and price action
- Track trade activity and prepare performance reports
- Contribute to dashboards and execution analytics tools
- Collaborate with traders, analysts, and developers to improve execution efficiency
- Stay informed on developments in electronic markets and regulatory updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
- Disciplined mindset with the ability to perform under pressure in fast-moving markets
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and openness to feedback
- Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude
- Willingness to work on-site in Toronto during US market hours
- Basic understanding of electronic markets and derivatives is a plus
- Familiarity with Excel or basic programming (e.g., Python) is an advantage
- Internship experience in trading or financial markets is preferred
